During that period, Dewi, a young woman of Javanese and Sundanese heritage, was still in her third year of high school in Yogya. In pursuit of her dream of becoming a journalist, she opted to major in Communication at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at UMY.
As a student, Dewi’s level of involvement didn’t decrease; in fact, it grew. This was especially evident when she successfully passed the presenter test organized by JogjaTV, opening the door to her career as a presenter.
