Despite her initial admission of not having a strong inclination toward politics and law at the outset of her career, she decided to specialize as a political and legal reporter due to the challenges it presented. As a result, she frequently covered a wide array of political events, ranging from regional elections to presidential elections, as well as legal matters, including cases involving corruption and terrorism.
After her nine-month tenure as a reporter, Iskandar was entrusted with the role of a presenter at Metro TV. Starting in February 2013, she assumed hosting duties for “Headline News” and the “Metro Malam” program.
