They submitted one of her drawings to the CAMMEs after her supervisor saw her talent in person. Her boss wagered her that if she won, she would have to follow an interior design career, which he did after winning the CAMMEs in 2007.
She is the owner of Tiffany Brooks Interiors, formerly You and Your Decor, an interior design firm. Her appearance on HGTV came as a result of her work at the firm.
