Henry and Rudy were involved in a serious car accident in the Las Vegas area on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, according to reports. According to police, the crash occurred about 3:40 a.m. local time and resulted in the death of a 23-year-old lady. Henry was apparently inebriated when he was taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas for non-life threatening injuries.
Rudy was said to have suffered terrible injuries in the incident, but she is said to be in stable condition. Henry was then charged with two felonies, DUI and dangerous driving, which could land him in prison for up to 20 years if convicted. In the aftermath of the incident, newly obtained camera footage shows flames engulfing one car.
“On behalf of our client Henry Ruggs III, we are doing our own investigation as of this writing and encourage everyone to reserve judgment until all of the facts are obtained,” his attorney told TMZ Sports. Henry is now being jailed without bond in the Clark County Jail in Las Vegas. On November 3, 2021, he is expected to appear in court.
