On Monday 6th September 2021, she shared a disturbing video of the moment she claims she was “violated” by fans after a college football match.
After Georgia’s triumph over Clemson, Lyndsey Gough was filming a live TV news broadcast when she was repeatedly mobbed by boisterous fans.
While standing in the concourse at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, Gough, the sports director for WTOC 11 in Georgia, released a video on Twitter showing people allegedly groping her from behind, yelling at the camera, and handling her equipment.
“Please don’t touch me,” Gough can be heard telling the first man who approaches her in the footage.
“Got all kinds of violated during my first live hit by fans,” Gough tweeted.
“After the first guy touched me I started rolling … this isn’t even all of it. So uncomfortable. Can we please respect people’s space.”
Gough can be seen exiting the camera shot after several more incidents with fans, and stating: “I’ve got to move.”
