LaFlamme is a qualified and educated woman. She attended St. Mary’s High School before going on to the University of Ottawa. In 1988, LaFlamme began her career as a copywriter and script assistant at CTV’s Kitchener affiliate CKCO. She went on to become an anchor in 1997.
