After graduating from high school, she relocated to Eugene, OR, to join the Ducks before moving to Reno in 2013. Ducks, go! Although she had always known she wanted to work in television news, it wasn’t until she got her first position that she realized how much she loved the weather.
She accepted a position at KTVL in Medford, Oregon, after graduating. She was initially employed as a production assistant, primarily helping behind the scenes by running tapes or floor directing. A rumored post eventually became available after a few months, and she happily accepted it! Her very first article as a reporter covered a sizable fire that severely damaged a ski resort close to Mount Ashland. Lindsey eventually moved on to weekend weather before landing a job as a morning meteorologist, where she spent 6 years.
She relocated to Reno in 2013 to serve as the KOLO morning meteorologist. She quickly discovered how lively and enjoyable this neighborhood was! During the summer, there are a ton of enjoyable activities and events to check out. She anticipated making this her permanent residence.
