Hamilton began her career in television at an early age, becoming the Family Channel’s inaugural host in 2008. She interviewed celebrities, athletes, and singers around North America for more than five years, including Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and One Direction.
She wrote, produced, and hosted many MacTV segments while studying communications and cinema at McMaster University. MacTV is a digital television source that covers both sports and local entertainment. Hamilton also created, produced, and hosted a sports radio show at CFMU during her tenure at McMaster.
Hamilton began hosting events during the 100th Grey Cup Anniversary Week in 2012, and by 2014, she had joined Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment as a host for Toronto Marlies, IIHF World Juniors, and Toronto Maple Leafs games and team events. The next year, Hamilton hosted the 2015 Pan American Games torch relay across Ontario, as well as artistic gymnastics at the Games in Toronto.
