Liberté Chan began her career as a journalist in 2013 when she joined the CW-affiliated news station KTLA. Before she left, she worked as a news journalist for the channel for nearly three years. Following that, Liberté provided services for KCOY-TV and KKFX, two channels linked to CBS and Fox, respectively.
Liberté worked as a reporter from 2006 to 2008 for a two-year period. The call of journalism brought Liberté to KMIR 6News station after she left KCOY-TV/KKFX. She worked at the station as a morning reporter from 2008 until 2010. When Liberté joined the KTLA station in 2010, she made effective use of her writing and meteorology skills.
