Julian Okines Education
Julian had always had a keen sense of aesthetics. He was a natural in design and photography, but he also enjoyed writing and editing. He turned to media studies to bring all of his passions together.
Okines graduated from Blatchington Mill Secondary School in 1991, where he studied painting and many sorts of media. He continued there until 1996, when he transferred to BHASVIC, or Brighton Hove and Sussex Sixth Form College.
The school is a high school for students aged 16 to 19. He developed an interest in the social sciences and how they connect to media when he was there.
He left BHASVIC in 1998 to study at the University of Leicester.
Okines earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2001.

Julian began modeling shortly after graduating. The athletic man had a good sense of style and turned his passion for clothing into a career as a model.
He released The Model’s Handbook, a multi-platform modeling reference, in June 2010.
A thorough book and a website featuring daily articles, interviews, and fashion tales were included in this guide. He also presented many seminars on the industry and developed a monthly web program.
He began editing for VELOUR magazine, a high-fashion monthly dedicated to London’s fashion industry, in February 2012. In January 2013, he departed both VELOUR and his employment with The Model’s Handbook.
Okines returned to media creation after leaving his modeling job and worked as a digital content producer at the Video Production House.
He learned the ins and outs of production on demand while creating advertising and video projects for a variety of clients.
He left the Video Production House in May 2015 to start his own business, Jam Creative Consultancy, where he creates content for brands, celebrities, and even blogs.
