Ginny Buckley Career
Buckley began her career as a junior in the newsroom at 2UW and then as a producer for the show Club Veg at Triple M. She went on to work as a reporter for the children’s television show C’mon Kids on the Nine Network in Australia from 1990 to 1991.
Buckley co-hosted the BBC TV children’s game show “The Wetter The Better” at the Sandcastle Leisure Centre in Blackpool in 1991, after returning to England. In Manchester, she worked for Granada Television. She also hosted the ITV shows Bodycheck and Taste for Travel.
Buckley joined the BBC One travel show Holiday in 2001, first as a reporter and then as the primary anchor. She also hosted the BBC One spin-off Holiday 10 Best.
