Gigi Hadid Arrested for Marijuana Possession in Cayman
It has been discovered that American model Gigi Hadid was detained and fined in the Cayman Islands earlier this month for cannabis possession.
On July 10, the 28-year-old woman and her friend were held when their luggage was examined as they arrived on a private flight for a vacation.
They pleaded guilty and paid a fee in court, but no conviction was recorded.
According to Hadid’s spokesman, the marijuana was obtained legally in New York “with a medical license.”

According to the Cayman Marl Road, they were transferred to a detention center and freed on bond.
Two days later, the pair appeared in Cayman Islands summary court and were fined $1,000 Cayman Islands dollars ($1,200; £920).
Despite this, the model appeared to be having a good time.
