Farah Singh Career
Farah Singh joins presenter Jill Morgan and reporting teams from Regina and Saskatoon for CBC News: Saskatchewan at 5, 5:30, and 6. Farah comes to CBC News Saskatchewan from The Weather Network in Ontario, where she offered national and local forecasts to viewers via television, radio, and the internet.
She relocated to Edmonton in 2012 to start The Weather Network’s Alberta bureau. She worked as a video journalist there, and her coverage of the 2013 Alberta floods was crucial. She has previously traveled to B.C. to cover on-the-ground tales from those affected by the Mara Lake flooding in the Shuswap.
