Dutchyshen began his his career in Saskatoon, working as a sportscaster for STV, which is now Global. He relocated to IMTV in Dauphin, Manitoba, after a year. In Edmonton, where he also aired a daily radio sportscast on 630 CHED for more than two years, he subsequently spent seven years as the host of ITV’s Sports Night.
Dutchyshen began working for TSN in 1995, hosting the weekend versions of SportsDesk and the CFL coverage throughout the football season. Also, he served as the host of TSN’s Olympic Prime Time coverage for the Olympic Games in Vancouver (2010) and London (2012).
The evening episode of SportsCentre is now hosted by Jennifer Hedger and Dutchyshen.
