Cindy has worked as StormTeam 5’s EyeOpener and Midday meteorologist for almost ten years. She is a highly qualified and award-winning meteorologist with more than 25 years of experience, 20 of which she spent covering the weather in the Boston market.
She also serves as the main meteorologist for the ongoing special coverage of “Forecasting Our Future” on WCVB. This important initiative, started by WCVB’s parent company Hearst Television, focuses on the difficulties Americans encounter when navigating shifting weather patterns and their effects on regional economies.
Before joining WCVB in 2013, Cindy worked as a morning forecaster for Boston’s WFXT. Prior to that, she worked at WBBH in Fort Myers, Florida, where she studied tropical meteorology, and at WPTZ, a Hearst NBC affiliate in Burlington, Vermont, where she predicted snowstorms.
