Keilar received the 2014 Aldo Beckman Memorial Award from the White House Correspondents’ Association for her coverage of the Obamacare launch while working as a White House correspondent.

When CNN This Morning took over for New Day with John Berman on September 15, 2022, it was reported that Keilar will quit her position there. Until the new CNN morning show aired on November 1, she continued to co-anchor the program. In a new position as network anchor, she will be working alongside Jim Scuitto and Boris Sanchez on an untitled program. Later this spring, the program will start.
