Rupinta began her career as a news and traffic reporter at WCAU in 200 and stayed for two years. She was later promoted to the position of General Assignment Reporter and Lifestyle Entertainment host at the WCAU Station.
She also served as an anchor for the show 10!, conducting interviews with musicians and actors and hosting live shows. In 2004, she was hired by the WTVD/ABC11 Network as a Meteorologist, Weekday co-anchor, and reporter.
Rupinta joined ABC11 in February 2004 and spent the following five years as a weekend morning co-anchor before switching to the evening team.
