Alexis Green is an English journalist who serves at BBC as a senior weather presenter and broadcasts journalist. Green is an alumni of the University in Cardiff (UWIC) where she earned a bachelor of science, Sports Science. She later went to the National Council for the Training of Journalism in Bournemouth, where she got a level 3 diploma in Journalism.

Green was born in Winchester and raised in Twyford for the first four years of her life. Her family then moved to a farm near Fordingbridge, where life became increasingly busy. Keeping the farm running for the twelve years she lived there was a combination of early starts and late finishes, and she learned a lot about farm life and felt tremendously privileged. When she was sixteen, her family moved from the country to the seashore, and she spent her teenage years in Mudeford, among the beach houses.
